My office is at home. It's a separate room on the first floor of my house where I keep my desk, my computer, and many, many boxes of my books.

Working at home isn't hard for me, considering it's always been where I do most of my writing. The isolation, however, has had a big affect on my mood. I find that I'm more tired and worn out lately and not nearly as creative, although I'm trying my best to write for an least an hour every day.

I'm currently working on the third and final book in the Changing Ways trilogy. I've finished writing entirely and am in the process of editing by hand. Fortunately, my mama works at UConn and was able to print out all two-hundred-and-fifty-three double-spaced pages on her office's industrial printer. While my book pertains to certain aspects of my personal life, writing it is more of a distraction from the pandemic than anything else.

I don't think this experience will have any drastic effects on my creative process. I do, however, believe that it is making me more grateful that I'm able to work from home with adequate resources like a computer, WiFi, etc. in a quiet space. I know not everyone has access to these things, so I'm very appreciative of my privileges. The pandemic is also testing my patience and ability to cope with circumstances outside of my control. I've learned that I'm more resilient, adaptable, and creative than I initially thought I was.
