My Studio is my home. Its a shared space so and I usually work where every I am feeling inspired, this could be in the living room, my work bench in my room, or outside if the weather is nice.
I mostly worked from home before so things didnt really seem to change. I have realized I do need start to set boundaries, just because this is the space I work in I do not always have to be working. It is so important to have time to recharge.
Currently I am working on some crystal malas, some bezeled crystal rings, and planning a collaboration with a friend.
I recently stepped away from my normal creating to sew some mask for New Haven Makers Mark, which had inspired me to make more unique ones for my persona use and shop. Im still waiting on supplies but this will be my project later this week.
Over all I think this experience has been a really been a positive one for me. Being a newer business, trying to build and online audience can be hard. After getting news that the beginning of fair season was going to be delayed, which is where a lot of my sales come from, I realized this is a now of never moment to build my online store audience. I am also working on creating better habits of time management because you can get easily distracted at home.
